Pour Decisions - Introduction

Today we thought it would be fun to start hearing from our fellow whiskey fans and followers. So, we’re asking you all to list the following 5 bottles everyone needs in their collection. Add a comment below if you’d like to be featured.

1. Daily Drinker

Easy to find, affordable, easy drinker. When you’re at the bar, nine times out of ten, they’re going to have it.

2. Impress Your Guests

Cool bottle, special story, unique label. This is a bottle that other people may not have in their collection or if they’re new to whiskey, they wouldn’t even know it exists. Think store picks or special/seasonal bottlings from a familiar brand.

3. Cheap Mixer

This is a bottom-shelf staple in every liquor store ever. Likely less than $20, but hits above its weight class.

4. Something Great, Weekend Bottle

This is a step above your daily drinker. Harder to find, little pricey, but super delicious and worth it. This is similar to the Impress Your Guests bottle, but it’s not a bottle you’re going to share with just anyone.

5. Special Occasion

One of your favorites, special to you, ultra-delicious, maybe a unicorn. This is the bottle that you go to for your wedding, birth of a child, milestone birthdays, etc. You pour this for someone to share a moment in time they’ll never forget.
